Local Area Information

Our location is fairly rural, yet we are close to many activity centers. Our immediate area features a hike/bike trail along an undeveloped and residential section of the Youghiogheny (say "Yock-uh-gain-ee") River, a working exhibit farm, and several golf courses and family restaurants.

Downtown Pittsburgh is just 45 minutes away to our north, Fallingwater and Ohiopyle State Park are less than an hour-and-a-half to our southeast, and there are two major malls within a half hour of us.
