"Instead of Golf" with Group Outings
Lessons are available on the day of an outing for non-golfers who would like to participate in group outings, such as corporate events.
...You will arrive at the same time as the group, and your instructor will meet with you. You will spend a relaxed day at the Practice Area learning to golf. We'll cover topics like equipment, terminology, etiquette, and grip and swing basics. Of course, you'll get to hit some golf balls. For lunch, you'll take a break at #10 stand, where your group will be passing through. When your group comes in off of the course, you'll join them for dinner. Golfers only play in groups of four, so it's not as if you'll be missing out on 'being with the rest of the group' by doing a different activity during the day.
...It's much less frustrating for you and for the other golfers in the group, and it's the same price either way. By next year's outing, you ought to feel a lot more comfortable on a golf course.
